We should never forget what the generations before us have done for us and given to us. Many have sacrificed and died so that we as a nation and a people could thrive. We should remember our history and those who have come before us. Remember their lives and their contributions. Never forget that it is because of our U.S. veterans that we are who we are today. If it were not for the generations of U.S. veterans that came before us, we would have a very different world. They are the ones that did what needed to be done without asking “why me” or “what’s in it for me”. They knew the cost but they also knew what the cost of not stepping up would be. There have been many in history that have given all they had for what they believed in. But today is for all the Veterans. Let’s not let them be forgotten by future generations.
