Today we want to share a simple DIY Easter craft with you. This is a simple step DIY Easter Cross in Glass Vase Table Decoration.

Every year at our local church, there is a big Easter Celebration. We are sure that is how it is with most churches. Some of us are pretty artsy so we are asked to help out with church decorations. The church was going to have an Easter Sunrise Breakfast and needed something to put in the center of each of the small breakfast tables. We did not want anything too big or elaborate that would interfere with the breakfast. So we made these little DIY Easter Cross in Glass Vase Table Decorations.

To make your DIY Easter Cross in Glass Vase Table Decoration:

Supplies:

scissors and limb cutters

glue gun

Sticks to make a cross or a small cross already made

thread

flat pieces or half marbles

glass vase

fake moss

large fake green leaves

Steps:

1. First you will need a small cross.

You can buy one already made but we made our own wooden crosses. We used limb trimmers to cut small pieces of limbs.

We then hot glued the sticks together to make the small wooden crosses.

With purple thread, we wrapped the crosses to make them look like purple cloth, kind of.

2. Hot glue the cross of your choice to the half marble. We used half marbles as that is what we had on hand. You could use flat-backed rocks or something like that also.

Be careful with the hot glue gun, you can get a nasty burn with those things.

3. In the glass vase arrange some of the fake moss.

4. Put the cross in the vase and arrange the moss to cover the base.

5. Take the large fake leave and strip off the limbs or cut them off with the trimmers. We only used the leaf itself, not any of the limbs.

6. In the center of the table, place the leaf and arrange the glass vase as center as possible. With long leaves this is a bit of a guess, round leaves would be easier to center the vase.

7. Just make as many as you need for the number of tables you need to decorate.

We made a bunch of these Easter Cross in Glass Decorations for an Easter church Sun Rise Service. It is quick and easy to make these. You can buy the materials or just use what you have on hand.

Of course, you can tweak and add all kinds of accents to make these Easter decorations exactly the way you want them. If you have a specific color theme or flowers you can easily add them to fit the need. Each one does not have to be identical, you can mix it up for a unique look if you want.

We did a plain, and simple Easter Decoration as we did not want too much on the tables.

This is, as you can see, a simple example of how to make a DIY Easter Cross in Glass Vase Table Decoration. But you get the idea and can make additions, or changes as you need to make your own unique piece. Use your imagination and skill to make your own version.
