Here on the farm, we feel it is important to support those who hold similar truths as we do. We do not get involved in politics, that is only one huge headache. But it is important to know what you believe and who you believe in. It may be considered political standing but we consider it taking a moral stand. As they say ” stand for something or fall for anything.” We as a family try to hold to certain things and try to follow certain family rules. We try to make good decisions for our family, our farmland, our pets, our country, and our peace of mind. That all being said, there are certain companies and groups that we try to support. Companies that have the same basic ideas and loyalties as we do. We buy local, we buy green, and we always try to buy Made in the U.S.A. We feel supporting our local sellers and U.S. companies is a must. These are not political issues, they are Patriotic, Environmental, and Personal moral issues. We choose to hold to our beliefs and choose to support companies that have similar beliefs. With that in mind, we will be having several talks in the near future about some of the companies that we support and why we feel it is important to do so. We are not interested in offending anyone and we are not trying to but we will stand as we believe.

In the next few talks, we will introduce you to the companies we support. These companies cover a wide range from Patriotic Companies, Green Companies, DIY Companies, Environmental Companies, Farming Companies, and others. Several of these companies will cover more than one of these categories. We try to get as many of our interests as possible in one company. There are some companies that we altogether boycott like Target and Starbucks but we will not go into the negative here.

We will start with what we consider most important, the Made in the USA, Patriotic companies. We fully believe in supporting our country and our troops. There will be no apology for this.

As you may or may not recall, we did a talk on Black Rifle Coffee company a while back. That post was on our favorite coffee. You can look back at that post if you want the whole story. BRCC is all about coffee, veterans, guns, and America, not specifically in that order. They offer awesome coffee, kinds the likes of which you will not see anywhere else. Every one of the BRCC coffees are unique and aptly named. I feel sure, though there is no proof of it, that they add gun powder to the coffee for an extra kick.

Our next company is The Flag Shirt Company. Flag Shirt is Veteran Owned, with a totally Made in the U.S.A. section. This company is a third generation, family-owned business. We appreciate their stand for our country and their great quality clothing.

There are many more companies that have either always been US-made or have moved back to US factories. You can easily find a list online of companies that are dedicated to Made in the USA products.  If these companies are making an effort to make changes that will make a positive impact on American workers, we should do our part also. Each of these companies is a solid, quality company with great personal relations with customers and a desire to support the American economy.
