To make a DIY Coconut Oil and Vitamin E Eye Cream Recipe you will need:
1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil
10 drops of Vitamin E Oil
prepared container
For those of you who do not know, there are two kinds of coconut oil refined and unrefined. Both kinds are fine to use it just depends on what you are making as to which one is better.
The refined coconut oil is in liquid form and generally will stay that way. It may harden if it freezes but we have not had that happen so we are not sure.
The unrefined is the one you usually see at the store, it is solid but will melt easily in warm temps. This makes it easy to keep and quick to melt for use.
For this recipe, we did it both ways just to see what it was like using both refined and unrefined.
The process is very simple and straightforward. The quality of the ingredients you use will determine how good an eye cream you make so it is best to go with pure organic ingredients.
Using unrefined coconut oil (solid at room temp)
1. In a stovetop pan melt the coconut oil.
2. Add the Vitamin E to the melted coconut oil.
3. Gently mix to blend the oils.
4. Remove from heat and let cool.
5. Pour the cooling mixture into the prepared container.

Do not forget to add a label to your Eye Cream, you do not want to get mixed up as to which herbal concoction you are putting on your eyes.

Using refined coconut oil (liquid)

2. Mix the two oils in a small, glass bowl.
It may take a bit of mixing to get the oils properly blended.
3. Pour the mix into the prepared container.
Do not forget to add a label to your Under Eye Drops, you do not want to get mixed up as to which herbal concoction you are putting on your eyes.
To use DIY Coconut Oil and Vitamin E Under Eye Drops:
Apply a small amount under each eye and gently massage in.
And remember both of these recipes are to be used under the eyes to help reduce baggage. DO NOT put either of these into the eyes. They are for external use only.
And that is all it takes to make a DIY Coconut Oil and Vitamin E Eye Cream Recipe or Under Eye Drops.
The coconut oil will help soothe the shin, while the Vitamin E oil helps heal. As far as we can tell, the only difference in the two methods is solid or liquid. It seems to work just fine either way. Which one you make is totally dependent on your preference, do you like a liquid or a cream?
So far there have been no adverse reactions to this recipe in our family but as some people can be allergic to coconut, make sure you do a small test area before using it on your under eye area. It would not do while in treating the bags under your eyes you have a reaction and come out looking like a canary with conjunctivitis.
It is also good to note, that coconut oil can cause acne breakouts in teens so keep that in mind if your teen wants to use this recipe.
If you need a larger amount at one time, just double the recipe but be sure to keep the ratios the same.
We hope this DIY Coconut Oil and Vitamin E Eye Cream Recipe will be of help to you. Try it out for yourself and see if it will smooth your baggage.
